A repeat client running an annual awards program needed a site that could do three things: look the part, collect nominations, and display winners year after year without needing a rebuild each cycle.
We built a WordPress site where visitors can submit nominations and track where the awards process currently stands. Every nomination flows into a Google Sheet the team can actually work with, instead of getting buried in email. On top of that, we built a custom back-end CMS so the client can enter category, winner, and year data themselves, which then automatically populates the public-facing winners page — filterable and sortable.
The result is a three-part system — the public site, nominations flowing into Google Sheets, and a CMS for managing winners — that the client can run themselves. The heavy lifting only had to happen once; each year now just needs a few updates instead of a rebuild.
